One place I truly would recommend is California or more specific Los Angeles. LA is a city with tons of different neighborhoods. You can be by the beach in Santa Monica and Venice where you’ll find a lot of small shops opened by locals. You can also go downtown, which feels a lot like being in New York City. If you like walking, you can hike up to Griffith park observatory in West Hollywood and see the famous Hollywood sign. You can also enjoy seeing Los Angeles from above. If you are looking for great shopping spots in LA I can really recommend Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The shops at Rodeo Drive are very expensive, But it is an experience to see all the big luxury shops. If you want vintage shops and stores in a lower price range, Melrose Avenue in mid city is the place to go. They also have a local flea market on Sundays, which is very worth a visit.
